Media/Software: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Cardboard Installation, Glass Bottle Packaging

Design Intention: SCAD B.F.A. Student Project

Overview: Human Trafficking is one of the fastest growing industries in the world. There are many forms of trafficking and little change happening to stop them worldwide. Children make up a large portion of this trafficking and these little ones are my focus. I want to bring awareness to child sex trafficking within the world and the horrorific outcomes along with a call to action. The awareness campaign for child trafficking is to be spread around the United States in hopes of informing the country of the trafficking around the world and the battles we have fought and still have to fight in our own backyard. For instance, Sex trafficking is extremely popular in countries like India, but what many may not know is the current happenings of sex trafficking of minors in their own state. I will be focusing exclusively on child sex trafficking. While I will be providing statistics from around the world, my imagery will heavily focus on American children. This will create an immediate connection for the American parents. The main goal of this campaign is to create awareness. So much of the world is good. People want to help but they don’t know how or sometimes they don’t even know what is happening in the world to help with. I feel as my job as a Graphic Designer, is to change the world for good. Creating a successful campaign will influence others to change lives.

Mission Statement: To create an awareness campaign of child sex trafficking both around the world and in the United States. To pour knowledge into those unaware. To inform those uninformed. To spark the incentive to make a difference in those who have none. To make brave those who are afraid.

*Recognition: Finalist in SCAD's Graphic Design show, Secession.
